Alpine Lakeshore

A calm alpine lake in late-afternoon light, seen from a gentle beach of fine dark volcanic gravel. Smooth rocks and rushes line the waterline, with ferns among the spruce behind and snow-dusted mountains rising beyond a mixed forest across the still water. Rendered water laps the shore with faint ripples. Calm, secluded, and quiet.
