Spatial and room information

Locus uses room information from visionOS to line up a 3D Room with your desk and open Room Portal in the right place. This work happens on your Apple Vision Pro.

visionOS controls camera and sensor access. Locus uses room information on the device to position and reveal content.

Browser activity

Websites you open in Locus can collect information under their own privacy policies, just as they can in another browser. Locus uses Apple's WebKit browser, which may store cookies and other website data on your device. You can clear your history and website data in Locus.

Imported Places and local library data

Place packages that you choose from Files or a supported URL are validated before installation and stored in the app's local library. Deleting an imported Place removes Locus's installed copy; it does not delete the source file from Files or your cloud-storage provider.

Package metadata can include creator, source, license, credits, modification notes, and AI-generation notes. That metadata is shown so people can understand where a View or Room came from.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases and subscriptions. Locus receives the purchase status needed to unlock what you bought; it does not receive your full payment-card details.

Support and public feedback

Emailing support sends the information you choose to include to the publisher's support mailbox. Public GitHub issues are visible to everyone. Never post private room images, credentials, receipts, order information, account details, notifications, device identifiers, or other personal data in a public issue.

Send private or security-sensitive reports to support@enterlocus.com and include only what is necessary.

Data retention and deletion

Local browser and imported-package data remain on your device until you clear or remove them, subject to visionOS and device backup behavior. Support messages and issue posts are retained as needed to answer, diagnose, prevent abuse, and keep a record of the resolution. You can request deletion of a support message by emailing support; public GitHub content is also subject to GitHub's platform controls and retention.
